Mr. Gaston has practiced law in Chester for over fifty years with an emphasis on personal injury, workers compensation, criminal defense, business or corporate law, and Family Court.
Mr. Gaston has extensive trial work experience and is a member of the American Board of Trial Attorneys (“ABOTA”). A fourth generation father-to-son attorney, Mr. Gaston is a native of Chester County, one of the top three graduates of his Chester High School class, attended the University of South Carolina and graduated cum laude from University of South Carolina Law School.
He was the former bank president of Chester Savings & Loan Association before their merger (now local BB&T). As a member of Purity Presbyterian Church, he has served as Chairman of the Board of Deacons, a ruling Elder, and Sunday School Teacher for youth and young adults for over fifty years.
His interest in youth has extended to membership in the Boy Scouts of America since the age of eight as a Cub Scout, Eagle Scout, Council President, Distinguished Eagle Scout, member of the Palmetto Council BSA Executive Board, and local representative on the National BSA Council. “A boy who stays in Scouts also stays out of the Criminal Court System” is his motto.
